Suzuki has launched the all-new 2019 Gixxer 150 in India today. The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer is priced at Rs. 1,00,212 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
The Suzuki Gixxer 150 is one of the most popular naked motorcycles in the country, and with the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Gixxer 150 SF been already launched, the company updates the popular street version as well.
The 2019 Gixxer 150 comes with a host of design changes which look refreshing, mostly inspired by the elder Gixxer 250. It now features an LED headlamp and taillamp setup, a muscular and chiselled fuel-tank which additionally get tank shrouds. Updates have been made to the graphics as well.
The major difference is in the new all-LED headlamp and looks more oval than the previous generation. You can see the similar dual-port exhaust canister which gets chrome treatment on the tip.
Additionally, Suzuki has added a new tyre hugger adding to its sporty looks while the all-black alloy wheels get red rim stripes. The LED instrument panel has been carried over from the new Gixxer SF.
Powering the all-new Gixxer 150 is the same 155cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which churns out 14.1 PS of power and 14 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The engine however now gets fuel-injection instead of the carburettor. While the seat has been dropped by 5mm and now stands at 795mm height, the fuel-tank capacity remains the same at 12-litres. Disc brakes both at front and rear are now standard along with a single-channel ABS for safety.
The all-new Gixxer 150 is available in three colours and will rival the likes of the TVS Apache 160 4V and the Yamaha FZ-S. On the pricing department, the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer is now expensive by almost Rs. 12,000.
