The Love Bug is an American comedy movie released in 1968. It was directed by Robert Stevenson and the first among series of movies made by Walt Disney Productions. It features a pearl-while 1963 Volkswagen racing Beetle dubbed as Herbie. The movie was based on the 1961 book Car, Boy, Girl written by Gordon Buford.
The Footloose movie was released in 1984 and is an American musical comedy-drama film directed by Herbert Ross. Starring Kevin Bacon, the movie is based on his attempts to overturn the ban on dancing which has resulted from the efforts of a local politician when his son died while returning from a night of dancing. Well in this movie, you see the Volkswagen Beetle making its appearances.
Happy Gilmore (1996)

Herbie Fully Loaded (2005)
Herbie: Fully Loaded is a American sports-comedy film which was released in 2005 and was directed by Angela Robinson and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. Starring Lindsay Lohan who is an aspiring car racer also features a number of Nascar racers including Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Mark Martin. It is the sixth and final instalment of the Herbie franchise.
The movie Bumblebee comes as a spin-off prequel to the very popular movie franchise Transformers. The movie is directed by Travis Knight and written by Christina Hodson and the first Transformers movie not directed by Micheal Bay who instead becomes the producer.
