Honda Two Wheelers today announced the arrival of much awaited CB300R into the country. Price of Honda CB300R Neo Sports Cafe stands at Rs Rs 2.41 lakh. As you might be knowing, bookings had already been initiated with a token amount of Rs 5,000 across all Honda Wing World dealerships. Brought in as CKD by the Japanese two-wheeler maker, the CB300R will be assembled in India which is why the pricing of this motorcycle is an attractive one.
Inspired from 2018 CB1000R, the Neo Sports Cafe has a retro-style design. Elements like a circular headlamp, muscular fuel tanks and a stubby rear all contribute to its naked bike design. The inclusion of features like LED lights and a liquid-cooled engine gives the Honda CB300R a modern feel.
Talking about the liquid-cooled engine, 2019 Honda CB300R comes fitted with a 300cc DOHC single-cylinder unit. This particular engine is capable of churning a power output of 30 bhp along with 27.5 Nm of peak torque. Powering its rear wheel is a 6-speed manual transmission. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres and is said to return a mileage figure of 30.2 kmpl.
Other features include 296mm disc up-front while the rear stands to provide a 220mm disc. Further, the Honda CB300R gets twin-channel ABS while suspension duties are carried out by 41mm upside-down front forks and a 5-step adjustable monoshock setup. It will be offered in two paint shades, namely Candy Chromosphere Red and Matt Axis Grey Metallic. This motorcycle in the Indian market will compete against the likes of Bajaj Dominar 400, BMW G310R and KTM 390 Duke.
