Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced that it has achieved a milestone of four million vehicles being produced from its manufacturing facility at Gurugram, Haryana. With this achievement, the two-wheeler automaker is on target for its 2020 vision of reaching one million sales in the country.
“We are delighted to roll out the four millionth vehicle and are thankful to our customers who have shown immense trust in our products. This is a testimony of our commitment to India and we wish to achieve many such milestones in the future. With this landmark, we are a step closer to achieving our sales target of 7.5 lakh units by the end of the current financial year. We thank our valued customers, business partners, associates, and all my colleagues for this remarkable feat”, commented Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle Private Limited.
Currently Suzuki Motorcycle sells 16 products in the Indian two-wheeler space. These comprise of Suzuki Access 125, Suzuki Burgman Street, Suzuki Gixxer alongside the more powerful capacity bikes like legendary Suzuki Hayabusa, Suzuki GSX-R1000R, Suzuki GSX-S750, Suzuki V-Strom 650XT and the RM-Z series. Besides these, the company also exports to 30 countries across the globe. It has pan India presence via 521 dealerships across the country. As per the company it achieved this feat in 12 years after having started their operations back in the year 2006.
