Toyota Kirloskar Motor today announced restructuring of its top-management. As per the new arrangement, current Managing Director Akito Tachibana will move on and in his place Masakazu Yoshimura would be appointed as the new Managing Director of the company. However the final decision of his appointment would be made at the meeting of Board of Directors that is scheduled for the 22nd January 2019.
In his new role, Masakazu Yoshimura will be in-charge of broad leadership and strategic direction of Toyota’s business operations in India. His career spans over 25 years in diverse specialisations like Product Planning, Pricing, Sales and Marketing. Before this announcement, Yoshimura was General Manager at Toyota Motor Corporation for East Asia and Oceania Division.
