Iconic brand Jawa Motorcycles is all-set to make an entry into the Indian market. After a gap of almost 18 years, the Jawa nameplate will once again ply on Indian roads. 15th November 2018 is the date when Jawa Motorcycles unveils 300 Classic Roadster for enthusiasts in India.   1. Jawa 300 Classic Roadster: It is this bike that will go on sale first in India. Jawa 300 Classic Roadster will be powered by a 293cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This is in fact the same engine that is currently carrying out its duties on the Mahindra Mojo however it has been retuned to suite the appeal of Jawa. The maximum power output therefore stands at 27 bhp and 28 nm of peak torque. This motorcycle will come matted to a 6-speed gearbox.
  2. BSVI Complaint: While in the two-wheeler space, manufacturers would be looking to make a transformation for their existing line of products. Jawa Motorcycles on the other will equip the 300 Classic Roadster with a BSVI complaint engine.
  3. Jawa 300 Classic Roadster price in India: One can expect this bike to be priced in the range of Rs 1.50 lakhs. This would an attractive price point in our opinion for customers looking to purchase a classic looking motorcycle.
  4. 3 Different Body Style: Yes, based on Jawa 300 Classic Roadster the manufacturer will be unveiling 3 different body styles on the 15th These 3 variants showcased will be launched later on in the coming months.

  6. Ownership: In India Jawa Motorcycles is owned by Classic Legends which is a lifestyle company formed in 2015 to reintroduce iconic brands. What is more interesting is that Classic Legends is a subsidiary of Mahindra.
  7. Production of Jawa Classic Roadster 300: Since Classic Legends is a part of Mahindra the Jawa Classic Roadster 300 will be manufactured at their Pithampur facility in Madhya Pradesh.

  9. Brand New Dealerships: Since there is an association with Mahindra, it has already been established that Jawa Motorcycles, as a brand will have separate dealerships. Expect first couple of outlets to open in metropolitan cities followed by tier II and tier III cities.
  10. Iconic Twin-Exhausts: Symbolic of Jawa Motorcycles, the 300 Classic Roadster will feature Twin exhausts and almost the similar exhaust note that we have heard off in the past.
