Jeep India is set to launch 2 new products alongside give updates to the existing models in its product portfolio over the next four years. Out of the 2 new products, one is said to be a compact SUV and the other a 7-seater SUV.
The Jeep 7-Seater SUV which is currently being referred under code-name “Low D” is believed to share the same platform that is found on Jeep Compass. Scheduled for launch sometime in the year 2021, this particular SUV, when introduced to the Indian market, will go up against the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Honda CR-V. Expect the price of Jeep Low D 7-seater SUV to be very competitive against competition.
While the all-new sub-four meter SUV will only come by 2022. It is expected to up against Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon in the Indian market. As for 2 model upgrades, Jeep India is expected to launch a more rugged and capable version of Compass called Trail Hawk. While its iconic Wrangler is said to receive a mid-cycle update. There is also a talk of their flagship SUV Jeep Cherokee being given a facelift some time next year.
