This month, we have been driving the Tata Tigor “Styleback” and Hyundai’s mighty SUV- Tucson.

Tucson continues to impress with its diesel-auto box combination. After coming back from it’s service, it has been returning around 11 kmpl within the city limits and around 15 kmpl out on the highway. It took over all the challenges that Mumbai rains threw at it with with utmost ease- thanks to it’s forgiving suspension and ground clearance.

Fuel efficiency – 11 kmpl (city) ; 15kmpl (highway)
Remarks – If you are looking to buy a SUV in within the sub 25 lakh category, look no further!
Tata Tigor XZ (O) Diesel Second Report
Compact dimensions, brilliant fuel efficiency and a great infotainment system are the three main highlights of the Tigor which have been growing on us month after month. This month, we drove down to Madh Island in the Tigor and it took on all the dirty road patches with utmost ease. The Harman powered music system ensured that we enjoy the journey to the fullest! It is indeed the best sounding music system that you can get in a compact sedan. During peak hour rush traffic, Tigor manages to return a healthy 14+ kmpl which is brilliant considering the soaring fuel prices!
Distance covered – 823 kms
Fuel efficiency – 14.5 kmpl
Remarks – Compact dimensions, great fuel-efficiency and a brilliant music system make the Tigor a brilliant daily companion.
