There is no denying the fact that a Nissan GT-R is king when it comes to drag races. So if you race a smaller engined-lesser powered Audi TT RS against the legendary GT-R, the former stands no chance right? But since the TT RS is lighter than the Nissan GT-R, you are in for a surprise! Watch this video below for more details!
Under the hood of the Audi TT RS is a five-cylinder 2.5-liter TFSI engine which produces 160 hp per liter, resulting in a total output of 400 hp. It’s quicker than its predecessor, going from 0-60 mph in only 3.6 seconds! On the other hand, the Nissan GT-R is powered by a bigger 3.8-litre twin turbo V6 engine which is good enough for 565 bhp of power! The only logical explanation to the results of this video is the fact that the new TT RS weighs only 1440 kilos which makes its damn fast of the line! The Nissan GT-R weighs a good 300kgs more than the TT RS at 1740kgs.
The Audi TT RS is one exciting car and we hope that Audi launches the same in India soon! Stay tuned to Exhibit Auto for more such updates and news from the International automotive scenario!
