The Frankfurt Motor Show is around the corner and German carmaker will be showcasing some much-awaited cars at its home turf. Three of these anticipated cars to be unveiled at the show are the new X3, M5 and the 8 Series Concept.
2018 BMW X3
The new third generation of the X3 is all set to make its debut in at the Frankfurt Show this year. We can expect new and updated diesel engines under the hood of this one and it is expected that there will be a 2.0-litre diesel pot under the hood whereas the tops spec variants will be powered by a bigger 3.0-litre diesel engine. It will take on the likes of the Mercedes GLC, Audi Q5 in the mid-size SUV segment.
BMW 8 Series Concept
The new 8 Series is still in its concept form and we can expect this to be an actual production model by the end of next year. Not much is known about the car as of now but we can be certain that it will share its platform and power trains the 7 Series LWB. It will be quite and interesting car as it technically has no competition and is all set to create a segment of its own!
2018 BMW M5
BMW has introduced the new 5 series in India last month and now it will be showcasing the sportier M5 version of it at this year’s Frankfurt Show. The main highlight of the new M5 is that it now gets an AWD system which will ensure that it gets off the line faster and offers more grip as well. This will make it the fastest M5 ever.
