British motoring icon Triumph has launched the new 2017 Street Triple in India. Prices for the updated bike start from Rs. 8.5 lakh(ex-showroom Delhi) for the S variant.
Powering the bike is an all-new 765 litre in-line “triple’ engine and according to the bikemaker this updated model has as many as 80 new components in comparison to the previous model. The ‘S’ variant which has been launched today has an output of 111bhp of power and 73 Nm of torque. A more powerful “RS” variant is expected later this year.

The new Street Triple has been priced quite competitively in India with as it competes directly with the likes of the Kawasaki Z900, Ducati Monster 821 and even the Aprilia Shiver 900. Triumph Dealerships across the country have started taking orders for the same and the deliveries are expected to start sometime in the next few days.
