The Duster has been a hot-selling commodity for Renault in India and can be credited for marking the brand’s presence in the Indian market along with the Kwid hatchback. The Duster sells well internationally as well and now the carmaker is planning to launch an all-new avatar of the SUV.
As one can make out from these spy shots, the rear quarter glass of the spied Duster is bigger than before and the carmaker might actually be working on a 7 Seater version of the same. The rear glass has been heavily camouflaged so its tough to confirm the same as of now. The seven seater variant will be heartily welcomed in our market because you know- we love our space.
The front grille and the headlamps have also been tweaked which is a good thing because the car might need some refreshment by the time it actually makes it to production and then to India. Under the hood, we can expect similar engine options i.e a 1.5-litre diesel variant in two state of tunes with MT/AT options, standard safety features like dual airbags and ABS will be compulsory by the time this car comes to India.
We can expect the new Duster to reach the Indian shores by late 2018 but their is still no official word on the same. Stay tuned to the wheelz for more updates on the new Duster.
